We are looking for an experienced & professional Supervisor to join our friendly team at Rick Stein’s Coffee Shop in Padstow, Cornwall.

What you'll be doing
  • Looking after and developing a small team.
  • Demonstrating excellent latte art skills, outstanding filter knowledge, and a range of brew techniques.
  • Preparing and making coffees, teas, and hot drinks for sit-in and take-away customers, while also being involved in food preparation and service where appropriate, adhering to company systems and procedures.
  • Opening up and closing down, cleaning machines at the end of shift, and ensuring the premises is well presented for opening.
  • Sustaining an exceptional level of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Completing any other duties as reasonably required and delegating to the team.
What we are looking for
  • Key Skills: Knowledge of specialty coffee - from both Origin and the greater specialty coffee industry as a whole.
  • Excellent understanding of day-to-day operations and upkeep of coffee machinery and equipment.
  • Ability to deliver timely service for customers.

Our Story

Rick and Jill Stein started our family-run business in 1975, and today we employ over 600 staff. Rick and Jill are still heavily involved in the business, as are their three sons Ed, Jack, and Charlie.

Good to know

Parking: There is plenty of free parking available in Padstow.
Travel to work: Padstow is on the bus route from Bodmin, Wadebridge, and Newquay, with regular buses throughout the day.
You can cycle safely to work from Bodmin and Wadebridge along the Camel Trail.
