Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Coffee Shop Assistant for HMP Altcourse, Liverpool. The role involves serving hot and cold drinks and foods, handling cash, maintaining hygiene, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced visits cafe environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve hot and cold food and beverages to customers.
• Deliver excellent customer service at all times.
• Prepare and stock the coffee shop in line with company planograms.
• Collect stock from the main kitchen and replenish supplies.
• Heat food and beverages ready for service.
• Complete food safety documentation and temperature records.
• Follow HACCP, health and safety, and company procedures.
• Rotate stock to minimise waste.
• Open, lock, and secure the coffee shop per security procedures.
• Operate the till, process transactions, and balance cash at shift end.
