Job summary

Origin Coffee is seeking an hands-on Packaging Operator to operate and monitor automated packaging lines, including setup, changeovers, and routine maintenance. You will ensure product quality, traceability, and safety while contributing to continuous improvement.

The role requires practical problem solving, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production setting. This on-site position offers a collaborative environment and opportunities for skill development.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing, production, or food production environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow procedures and work accurately under pressure.
• Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and confidence operating machinery.
• Ability to perform physically active work and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor automated packaging equipment.
• Set up machinery according to product specifications and production schedules.
• Perform product changeovers efficiently and accurately.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust settings as required.
• Identify and resolve minor faults; escalate complex issues.
• Maintain health, safety and hygiene procedures and clean work environment.
• Carry out quality checks and complete production records to ensure traceability.
