Freemans Event Partners is seeking an experienced Coffee Manager for the Blenheim Palace Christmas Light Trail in Woodstock, Oxfordshire. This temporary, casual role leads busy coffee outlets across a major seasonal event, ensuring top-quality drinks and fast, friendly service.

The successful candidate will manage the outlet from setup to close-down, coordinating a team of baristas, maintaining stock, and upholding safety and hygiene standards.

• Previous coffee shop, café or hospitality management experience.
• Strong knowledge of coffee preparation and service.

• Ensure coffee outlets are fully set up and ready for service.
• Oversee the preparation and presentation of coffee, hot chocolates and other drinks.
• Maintain product quality and consistency throughout service.
• Manage queues and ensure fast, efficient service during peak periods.
• Monitor stock including coffee, milk, cups and other consumables.
• Coordinate stock replenishment throughout each shift.
• Oversee till and cashless payment procedures.
• Ensure equipment is used safely and correctly.
• Maintain excellent food hygiene, cleanliness and health & safety standards.
• Troubleshoot operational issues during service.
• Manage outlet close-down procedures.
• Work closely with senior event management.

We’re recruiting experienced and enthusiastic Coffee Managers to join our team at Blenheim Palace for the spectacular Christmas Light Trail. Be part of the team delivering an unforgettable visitor experience at one of the UK’s most iconic historic venues, as Blenheim Palace is transformed into a magical festive destination.

This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced coffee and hospitality professionals to lead busy coffee operations at a major seasonal event. We are looking for people who are available to work five shifts per week on a rota basis, including evenings and weekends.

The Role:

As a Coffee Manager, you’ll lead one of our busy coffee and refreshment outlets across the Christmas Light Trail, ensuring your team delivers consistently high-quality drinks alongside fast and friendly customer service. You’ll take responsibility for your outlet from setup through to close-down, maintaining excellent standards even during the busiest periods of the evening.

We’re looking for people who:

• Have previous coffee shop, café or hospitality management experience.
• Have strong knowledge of coffee preparation and service.
• Have experience leading or supervising teams.
• Are confident working within high-volume environments.
• Have excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Are organised and able to prioritise effectively.
• Remain calm and professional during busy service periods.
• Have a strong focus on quality and presentation.
• Are available to work five shifts per week on a rota basis, including evenings and weekends.
• Are comfortable working at an outdoor seasonal event during the winter months.
