Regional Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a leading specialist in high-performance pipework systems for a TIG – MMA Coded Welder role in Ossett, West Yorkshire. Permanent, full-time with nationwide site work and great training opportunities.

The role combines workshop fabrication with site-based projects, offering a competitive salary dependent on experience and a range of benefits including overtime, pension, and health support.

Qualifications

• Time served Pipe Welder required.
• Proven TIG and MMA welding (Low Hydrogen) experience.
• Experience with MIG welding.
• Welds to ASME or EN standards and radiographic standards.
• Welding carbon steel and stainless steel pipework.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and weld symbols.
• Familiar with NDT and destructive weld testing.
• Full UK Driving Licence and right to work in the UK.
• Proof of welding codings (current or expired).

Responsibilities

• Carry out TIG and MMA welding on pressure pipework and spool fabrications.
• Weld small bore (<2”) and large bore (up to 32”) heavy wall pipework.
• Follow WPS requirements for TIG/MMA processes.
• Fabricate, modify and install process pipework.
• Maintain high quality welds and work to tight tolerances.
• Work at workshop and nationwide sites, including overtime when required.
• Maintain housekeeping and health & safety standards.
• Mentor junior team members.
