Job summary

Ambitek Limited is seeking an experienced Pipe Welder / Coded TIG Pipe Welder for workshop-based work with some site elements. The role focuses on fabrication, installation, and maintenance of piping systems across multiple sectors.

The ideal candidate has proven pipe welding experience, holds a CCNSG or CSCS card, and can read engineering drawings. This is a hands-on position requiring teamwork and independent work when necessary.

Qualifications

• Experience as Pipe Welder or Coded TIG Welder required.
• CCNSG or CSCS card essential.
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
• Willingness to work in workshop and on-site as needed.

Overview

Local candidates only. Immediate opportunity for an experienced Pipe Welder / Coded TIG Pipe Welder with a leading engineering company renowned for quality and innovation. The role involves fabrication, installation, and maintenance of piping systems across various sectors.

Responsibilities

• Weld pipework to high standards using coded TIG (pipe welding).
• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Ensure all work complies with industry specifications and safety standards.
• Contribute effectively as part of a team and work independently when required.

• Proven experience as a Pipe Welder or Coded TIG Pipe Welder.
• Strong knowledge of welding processes and materials.
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
• Valid CCNSG or CSCS card (essential).

Role Details

The role will be predominantly workshop-based, with some site work if/when needed.

Pay & Hours

• Basic: Mon – Fri (first 8 hours on site / 8.5 hours Mon-Thu workshop & 07:30-14:00 Fri).
• £26.25 Per Hour.
• Overtime: After 8 hours on site Mon-Fri / workshop Mon-Thu after 8.5 hours.
• £36.75 Per Hour.
• Weekend Overtime: After 5 hours on Saturday & all day Sunday.
• £47.25 Per Hour.

Trade Test

All applicants must be able to complete a 6G positional butt weld test on pipe (carbon steel & stainless steel – 2" diameter).
