Job description

Overview

Blueprint is currently looking for Stick Welders for a project in South Fife and Dundee. The role is at least three months, but could become long‑term. This is a heavy engineering project involving work on structural steel. Stick welding and fabrication are required on a repair and upgrade programme. Candidates must have recent codings.

Responsibilities

• Work on structural steel projects including repair and upgrade.
• Perform stick welding and fabrication tasks.
• Follow standard hours of 7:30 – 4:30 on days, with arrangements for nights.
• Shift duties: night shift and day shift work will be required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 4 (Essential)
• Experience welding structural steel
• CSCS Card (Essential)
• Own transport (preferred)

Contract & Pay

PAYE only. Rates are negotiable. Start available from November.
