A leading manufacturing company in Huddersfield is seeking a Coded MIG/TIG Welder for a permanent position. The successful candidate will support fabrication processes, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness in production. Must be apprentice trained with excellent fabrication skills.

Elevation Recruitments Skilled Shop Floor Team are proud to be working in partnership with a leading manufacturing business based in Huddersfield. We are currently recruiting for a Coded MIG/TIG Welder on a permanent basis.

Fabrication Engineer

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 7am – 4pm, Friday 7am – 11.45am

Rate:

Overview of the role of the Coded MIG/TIG Welder:
  • Ensure support in the production of the company product range within the fabrication group.
  • Ensure products are manufactured and surface finished as per company specifications.
  • Complete work within budget and project requirements.
  • Coordinate and prioritize parts according to the project plan.
  • Review and implement the most cost-effective working methods.
  • Contribute to continual improvement of product designs for cost savings.
  • Assist with preventative maintenance on machines and equipment.
  • Support QA procedures to ensure quality and business development.
  • Assist with R&D projects by offering advice and support.
Skills and Experience:
  • Experience in both MIG and TIG welding.
  • Experience in fabrication, especially high precision welding and fabrication.
  • Experience working with stainless steel.
  • Must be apprentice trained.
  • Must have been coded or have the credentials to be coded.
