ABOUT THE ROLE

The Cocktail Waiter is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service by taking cocktail orders, serving drinks, and ensuring a smooth and efficient bar service experience. This role requires a friendly, professional, and attentive individual who interacts with guests, takes drink orders, and delivers beverages while maintaining an atmosphere of comfort and satisfaction. The Velvet Cocktail Waiter works closely with the bar and service teams to ensure timely and accurate service.

ABOUT YOU

• Previous experience as a cocktail waiter or in a similar role in a bar or hospitality environment is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages is advantageous.
• Experience in customer service and working in a fast-paced environment is highly beneficial.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on delivering exceptional guest service.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple drink orders simultaneously in a busy environment.
• Positive and professional attitude, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Maintains good personal grooming and presentation.
• Food safety and hygiene certification is a plus.
• Responsible alcohol service certification is desirable but not mandatory.
• Previous training or certifications in health and safety regulations (e.g., fire safety, first aid) are advantageous but not essential.
