Responsibilities

As a Coax Splicer, you will be part of a team of construction professionals producing high-quality work using specialized skills in splicing, activations, testing, troubleshooting, and more. You will upgrade existing plant, plant extensions, and new construction projects. We value doing the job right, being the best, and embracing challenges.

• Splice, sweep, and troubleshoot existing aerial and underground coaxial cable
• Optimize new Nodes and splice in node splits to reduce capacity
• Utilize RF Meters and TDR (time-domain reflectometers)
• Read CATV telecommunication design and prints
• Work in outdoor utility construction sites

Qualifications

About You:

• Safety is a value you live by
• At least 1-3 years of splicing and sweeping experience
• Comfortable working on ladder or bucket truck
• Enjoys solving hard problems and hands-on work
• Proven track record of high-quality work
• Flexible with shifts and overtime
