Job Title: Coatings Supervisors (Marine/Industrial) - Glasgow

Location: Shipyard, Glasgow

Duration: Ongoing contract

LRL Recruitment are currently recruiting for Coatings Supervisors to join a long-term project at a busy shipyard in Glasgow. This role is ideal for candidates with proven marine, dockyard, or industrial experience, looking for consistent, well-paid work with excellent overtime opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervising coating operations on docked ships within a shipyard environment.
• Leading and coordinating teams to ensure all works are carried out to specification.
• Monitoring quality standards, safety procedures, and progress.
• Reporting project updates to management.

Requirements:

• Proven supervisory experience in Marine, Dockyard, or Industrial coating projects.
• Strong knowledge of protective coatings processes and quality standards.
• Ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
• 2 project-specific references.

Pay Rates:

• Basic: £28.39ph
• OT1: £42.58ph
• OT2: £56.78ph
• Nights: £37.76ph
• Lodge allowance: £35 per day (if required).

Work Pattern:

• Ongoing work.
• Monday to Sunday available.
• Fridays paid at Overtime Rates.
