Job summary

Chefs in Schools is seeking a mid-level Programme Manager to lead the School Food Review coalition. You will plan, coordinate and oversee delivery across multiple organisations, ensuring timely work plans, governance reporting and partner engagement.

You’ll manage budgets, funder reporting and communications, while coordinating events and allied outputs to drive impact in school food reform.

Qualifications

• You have significant experience working in coalitions, partnerships or other multi-organisation settings.
• You are highly organised, detail-oriented and able to plan ahead with deadlines.
• You are confident managing senior stakeholders and building consensus.
• You are an excellent writer and communicator with facilitation and meeting-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Attend workstream meetings to support development of plans.
• Manage delivery of the work plan to timelines with workstreams.
• Coordinate sign-off for coalition reports and governance meetings.
• Lead liaison with the coalition chair and funders with regular updates.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and six-month funder reports.
• Oversee member communications and engagement across the coalition.
• Coordinate events and ensure consistent branding across outputs.
