Job description

Connect Appointments is delighted to partner with a Fraserburgh based engineering and manufacturing firm, who specialise in the production of large-scale vehicles and trailers.


We're seeking a Coachbuilder/Panel Beater to assemble a variety of components, ensuring high standards of quality and precision. Your duties will include:

  1. Assemble mechanical components per engineering drawings
  2. Use hand and power tools for assembly and modifications
  3. Conduct quality inspections and tests
  4. Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues
  5. Collaborate with teams to improve processes
  6. Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area
  7. Document assembly processes and keep accurate records

To be successful in this Coachbuilder/Panel Beater role, you will have the following skills, traits, and experience:

  1. Experience in mechanical assembly
  2. Ability to read engineering drawings and use assembly tools
  3. Attention to detail and commitment to quality
  4. Strong problem-solving skills and teamwork abilities
  5. Basic computer skills for documentation

What's on offer? Permanent, full-time position, with a competitive salary up to £41,500 per annum DOE, as well as 33 days holiday per year, and high earning potential through overtime and bonuses.
