Job description

Connect Appointments is delighted to partner with a Dunfermline based engineering and manufacturing firm, who specialise in the production of large-scale vehicles and trailers.

We're seeking a Coachbuilder to assemble a variety of components, ensuring high standards of quality and precision. With your duties including:

  • Assemble mechanical components per engineering drawings
  • Use hand and power tools for assembly and modifications
  • Conduct quality inspections and tests
  • Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues
  • Collaborate with teams to improve processes
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area
  • Document assembly processes and keep accurate records

To be successful in this Coachbuilder role, you will have the following skills, traits and experience:

  • Experience in mechanical assembly
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and use assembly tools
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Strong problem-solving skills and teamwork abilities

What's on offer? Permanent, full-time position, with a competitive salary up to £41,500 per annum DOE. As well as, 33 days holiday per year; and high earning potential through overtime and bonuses.

  • Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:30 (with an early Friday finish)
