Job description

Salary: £15.84 p/h

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Coach Builder to join our Engineering Team at our Slatyford Depot in Newcastle Upon Tyne.

At Stagecoach North East, we operate over 400 vehicles, connecting our passengers across Tyne and Wear and Teesside, with our engineering teams playing a fundamental role in ensuring our vehicles are maintained to the highest standards. Our depot at Slatyford is a purpose-built facility, operating 90 buses from there.

The successful candidate will play a key role within our maintenance team to ensure our vehicles are maintained and repaired, remaining available, roadworthy, and reliable for our customers at all times.

A PCV licence is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided as required. An NVQ Level 3 in a relevant subject is essential.

Salary: Potential to earn £32-38k per year with some overtime working.
