Job description

About the role

The purpose of this role is to support the Co-Production Collective & UCL Public Engagement team in our day-to-day work, including project co-ordination, administration for events, marketing, and community engagement. You will work in line with the Co-Production Collective strategy ‘Our Direction’ and the Public Engagement strategy currently being developed. The role also involves supporting the delivery of specific projects related to the Co-Production Collective and internal initiatives to embed a culture of co-production and public engagement across the university. This is a great opportunity to learn and develop within the team, suitable for someone proactive, flexible, and passionate about our work, with good relationship development and administrative skills, and an interest in event organisation and project co-ordination.

This is a fixed-term contract. We consider applications for part-time, flexible, and job share arrangements where possible. The role is eligible for hybrid working.

About you

We are looking for candidates with the following experience and skills:

  • Experience working on projects and programmes, either as part of a team or in an administrative role.
  • Excellent team working skills and the ability to work collaboratively and independently.
  • Proven ability to plan, prioritise, and manage a varied workload.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to develop sustainable relationships with a range of partners and organisations, including public and voluntary sector agencies and community groups.
