Job summary

JBRP1_UKTJ in Northampton is seeking an experienced Production Operative to join a permanent, full-time team. The role involves operating CAD cutting tables (ideally ZUND), CNC and other woodworking machinery, and working from technical drawings and specifications.

The successful candidate will have 6 months+ production experience, attention to detail and a willingness to learn, with opportunities for progression in a busy manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months' relevant production or manufacturing experience.
• Experience operating CAD tables, ideally ZUND.
• Experience with CNC or woodworking machinery.
• HOMAG experience would be advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality.
• Ability to follow technical instructions and production specifications.
• Reliable, hardworking and willing to learn.
• Comfortable working in a busy production environment.

Responsibilities

• Operating CAD cutting tables, ideally ZUND.
• Operating CNC and other woodworking machinery.
• Setting up and safely operating production machinery.
• Working from technical drawings and production specifications.
• Ensuring products are manufactured accurately and to a high standard.
• Carrying out quality checks throughout the production process.
• Following health and safety procedures at all times.
• Supporting different areas of the production line as required.
• Learning the full production process and developing knowledge across the business.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
