Job summary

Jobs4 is seeking a CNC Operator/Wood machinist to join our late shift team in Leeds. You will machine timber and board materials to exact specs, operating CNCs, beam saws and edge banders, with a 39-hour week and a salary of £17.50 per hour including shift allowance.

The role requires reading drawings, attention to detail and the ability to work independently or in a team while meeting production targets. The site is in Leeds LS10 and we value quality and safe manufacturing practices.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC woodworking machinery.
• Ability to read drawings and work to specifications.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machinery, beam saws and edge banders.
• Machine timber/board components to drawings and specs.
• Read production paperwork and labelling accurately.
• Ensure on-time delivery to production teams.
• Carry out quality inspections and identify defects.
• Support continuous improvement in the machine shop.
• Maintain safe, clean and organised work environment.
