Job description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a CNC Wood Machinist with our client in the Newry area.

Exciting designers and manufacturers of wooden products to supply globally. They are well known in the local area as an employer of choice.

Your new role

As a CNC Wood Machinist, you will operate CNC woodworking machinery using CAD/CAM & SWOOD software and woodworking tools. You will quality check your work and work safely following H&S standards.
Working hours are Monday to Thursday, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm, and Friday until 3 pm.

What you'll need to succeed

Ideally, you will be skilled in operating CNC woodworking machinery, with experience in CAD/CAM & SWOOD software and woodworking tools. A strong understanding of wood types and furniture-making techniques, along with a keen eye for detail and passion for craftsmanship, is essential.
