CNC Turning role

Role: CNC Turner

Location: Based close to Diss, Norfolk

Working hours: Monday to Friday, full-time hours

Position type: Temporary to Permanent or Permanent

Rate of pay: Up to £18.00 per hour

Our client, a leading engineering company, is seeking a CNC Turner to join their team on a temporary to permanent or permanent basis.

Main duties will include:

1. Setting up and operating CNC machinery with live tooling to perform turning duties
2. Interpreting technical drawings to meet customer requirements
3. Programming CNC machinery
4. Conducting routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance
5. Inspecting finished goods to ensure they meet quality standards
6. Troubleshooting and resolving issues that arise
7. Liaising with staff at all levels to optimize production processes and improve efficiency

Candidate attributes:

• Proven experience as a CNC Turner
• Strong understanding of machining principles and techniques
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Attention to detail and precision in workmanship
• Good problem-solving skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
