Job summary

An established industry player is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer & Setter to join their team in Peterborough. This role involves online programming and setting of multi-axis CNC Turning machines, machining bespoke components for the motorsport sector. The ideal candidate will have experience with CNC controls, such as Mazatrol or Siemens, and will be comfortable working from engineering drawings to produce high-quality parts. Qualifications

Job description

CNC Programmer & Setter - Turning

Peterborough

8am - 5pm Monday - Friday

31k - 36k - depending on experience

Overtime paid at premium rates

Permanent

The role:

  • Online programming and setting multi-axis CNC Turning machines using Mazatrol/Siemens/Protrak controls
  • Machining small to medium-sized batch work using aluminium, stainless steel, and plastics for bespoke small to medium sized precision Motorsport pit equipment components.
  • Machining to tight tolerances
  • Working from engineering drawings
  • Full quality inspection with hand held measuring tools

The candidate:

  • You will be Turning biased with a minimum of setting (part programming as upskilling is offered)
  • Online programming experience is preferred but not essential
  • Fanuc or Heidenhain controls experience as a minimum
