CNC Turning Setter/ Operator
Shifts - Night Shift

Monday to Friday 22:30 - 05:30 (Friday 13:00 - 20:30)

Please note throughout your training period you will need to commit to a day shift.

Permanent
Pay rate up to £16.33 per hour
Location: Thurmaston LE4

Do you have experience as a CNC Turning Operator / Setter?
Have you previously worked in a manufacturing environment?
Do you have a passion for working within the Aerospace industry?

GI Pro are working in partnership with an Aerospace company, based in Thurmaston, who are one of the world's largest manufacturers of Airplane Components for the Aerospace sector.

Our client is looking for enthusiastic and motivated CNC Turning Setter/ Operator to join their growing team.

Immediate starts available.

Job Description:

  1. Operating CNC Turning Machines, in accordance with the agreed specification.
  2. Attain machine setting skills to enable machine set ups in line with Company requirements.
  3. Read and work from technical drawings.
  4. Quality inspecting parts through the use of various gauges such as verniers, micrometers, etc.
  5. Consistently achieving all targets (production, quality, housekeeping, etc.), as set by the Line Manager.

The Ideal Candidate:
  1. Previous experience in CNC Miller Setting is advantageous but not essential.
  2. Previous experience in CNC machining is advantageous.
  3. Experience within an Automotive sector is advantageous.
