CNC Turner

CNC Turning opportunity using either STAR Sliding Head machines or more common CNC lathes. Either rotating mornings, afternoons, or permanent nightshift available.

Job opportunity for a proven CNC Turner to either work with STAR sliding head or general CNC lathes. As a CNC Turner, you will be responsible for setting and operating. Programming experience is a bonus and warrants a higher salary banding. The company manufactures a range of precision components for various sectors. We are recruiting for multiple positions across different levels of experience, from trainee through to senior, so please feel free to get in touch should you wish to discuss the details.

Salary & Package: £16.50 to £26.95 per hour depending on experience and shift pattern. 25 days holiday + banks.

This CNC Turner job will suit:

1. An experienced CNC Turner from a precision engineering background.
2. Setting and operating skills as a base level. Programming skills would be ideal.
3. Familiarity with Fanuc based controls.

The CNC Turner job will involve:

1. Setting and operating either STAR Sliding Head Lathes or more common CNC Turning machinery.
2. Working with Fanuc based systems to produce components for the automotive sector.
3. Following engineering drawings to ensure products conform.
4. Self-inspection of components.

This job is commutable from Alfreton, Ilkeston, Belper, Heanor, Ripley.
