Job description

We offer a 37.5 hour working week across just 4 days – giving you more time to recharge without losing out on pay.

We're looking for an experienced CNC Turner to join our skilled team, programming, setting and operating Star sliding head lathes (SR20, SV20 & SR32J). You’ll be producing complex, high-precision parts in a variety of materials for customers in medical, aerospace and other high-performance sectors.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Programming, setting and operating Star sliding head machines
• Quick-changeovers and short-run setups
• First-off prototypes
• Lights-out / unmanned machining supervision
• Working to tight tolerances and finishing parts to spec
• Reading technical drawings and ensuring quality from start to finish

What You’ll Need

• Experience programming, setting and operating sliding head machines (ideally Star)
• Strong understanding of precision engineering and complex drawings
• A detail-oriented approach and good problem-solving mindset
• Comfortable working as part of a team
