CNC Turner - Skilled Machinist

Early finish Fridays!

Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 16:30, Friday: 07:30 - 12:30

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Turner to join our client's team in Birmingham. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced machinist to work in a company that values craftsmanship, continuous improvement, and employee wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Programming, setting, and operating CNC turning machines.
• Working with Mazatrol, Siemens, and G-Code control systems.
• Interpreting detailed engineering drawings.
• Producing components to tight tolerances.
• Setting tools with an understanding of cutting speeds and feeds.
• Performing boring, drilling, and threading operations.
• Using precision measurement equipment (verniers, bore gauges, micrometers, etc.).
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in CNC programming.
• Experience with CAD/CAM is desirable but not essential.
