Job Role: CNC Turner Setter Operator
Location: Leicester, LE2
Shift: Nights - 6pm to 6am Mon to Thu
Pay Rate: £16.00 to £17.00 per hour

Our Client:

An established engineering company are looking to recruit a skilled and experienced CNC Turner Setter Operator to join their team on the night shift. As a CNC Turner Setter Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC Turning machines to produce high-quality components according to specifications.

Responsibilities:

1. Set up CNC turning machines including tool changes and offsets
2. Operate CNC turning machines to produce precision components
3. Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as needed
4. Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy
5. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machine operation
6. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
7. Collaborate with team members to ensure production goals are met

Qualifications & Experience:

1. Proven experience as a CNC Turner Setter Operator
2. Proficient in setting up and operating CNC turning machines
3. Strong understanding of CNC programming and tooling
4. Knowledge of machining principles and techniques
5. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
6. Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail
7. Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards

Day-to-day:

As a CNC Turner Setter Operator, you will start your shift by reviewing the production schedule and preparing the CNC turning machines for operation. Throughout the shift, you will monitor machine performance, make adjustments as needed, and inspect finished components for quality. You will work closely with team members to ensure a smooth production process and contribute to the overall success of the night shift operations.
