Job description

Our client is looking for a CNC Turner Setter/Operator to join our skilled machining team. You ll be working on CNC lathes (Doosan and HAAS) using FANUC controls, setting and running pre-programmed jobs created by our in-house programmer. We re open to discussing pay based on experience, and can discuss day, afternoon, or night shifts if you had specific requests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set and operate CNC lathes (Doosan and HAAS) using FANUC controls

  • Run pre-written programs and ensure smooth, accurate operation

  • Set tooling and produce first-off parts to spec

  • Perform in-process checks to ensure components meet drawing requirements

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working area

What We re Looking For:

  • Proven experience setting and operating CNC turning machines

  • Confident using FANUC controls

  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings

  • Skilled in standard inspection tools (micrometres, verniers, gauges)

  • Reliable, proactive, and quality-driven
