Qualifications

  • Experience with small to medium CNC turning operations.
  • Familiarity with CNC systems like Okuma OSP, Fanuc, and Mazatrol is preferred.
  • Knowledge of machining processes, tooling, offsets, and quality checks.

  • Perform routine maintenance and health and safety checks on equipment.

Job description

JRS Associates have partnered with an innovative precision engineering company in the local area to find a skilled CNC Turner - Setter, Operator to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a high-tolerance machining environment, producing high-value components from exotic alloys.

Package:

  • Salary: GBP27,000 GBP28,000 per annum (DOE) + 16% shift allowance
  • Shift Pattern:
    • Mornings: 6am 2pm, Monday to Friday
    • Afternoons: 2pm 11pm (Mon-Wed), 2pm 10:30pm (Thu), 2pm 6pm (Fri)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate, set, and adjust CNC turning machines to produce high-value components.
  • Machine precision parts from exotic alloys to tight tolerances.

Requirements:
