Pertemps North Midlands is recruiting an experienced CNC Turner in Irlam to join a well-established manufacturing company. You will program, set and operate CNC lathes, reading drawings and GD&T to manufacture high-quality components with precision.

The role suits someone who can take a job from drawing to finished part and work across a range of turning equipment, with a focus on accuracy, safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years hands-on CNC turning experience
• Experience with Fanuc controls
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T

Responsibilities

• Programming, setting and operating CNC turning machines
• Working with Fanuc controls
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T
• Reading, understanding, editing and proving ISO turning programs
• Selecting tooling and inserts for each job
• Producing first-off components and ensuring quality standards
• Troubleshooting machining issues and making adjustments
