We have a vacancy for a Setter/Operator - CNC Turner

Location: Nasmyth Henton, Leicester, LE10 3DE
Shift Pattern: 37 hours per week - rotating am/pm - Monday - Thursday 06:00 - 13:45/13:45 - 01:30 with a 30-minute unpaid break
Salary - £16.77 per hour plus shift pay £564.60 per month

Role Accountabilities:

  • Operating CNC Turning machines
  • Setting Tools
  • Editing Programs
  • Updating basic maintenance on machines (TPM)
  • Raising Product Investigation Reports (PIRs), if required
  • Working to 5S standard in the area
  • Safe handling of components, jigs and fixtures

Person Specification:
  • 5 years’ experience in the Aerospace/Automotive Industry in a similar role
  • Apprentice trained – preferred or demonstrated relevant experience
  • Experience of Fanuc/Siemens operating systems
  • Ability to read drawings/specifications
  • Ability to use inspection equipment and inspect your own work
  • Working to production timelines in a manufacturing environment
  • Working with SOPs and Company specific documentation
  • Self-driven, results orientated, with a positive outlook
  • Able to get on with others and be a team-player
  • Attention to detail and accuracy at all times
  • Working to deadlines
  • Managing workload effectively, prioritising where necessary
