Qualifications

  • Essential NVQ 3 or equivalent.
  • Experience with machining of exotic metals and engineering drawings.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015.

Responsibilities

  • Join the engineering team as a precision lathe turner/CNC Miller.
  • Manufacture and supply drive train components and valve components.

Skills

Job description

Salary: 35k- 37.5k

Potential Earnings: With O/T, up to 62k

Hours: 39 hrs/week + 1.5

Location: Aintree, Liverpool

Background

Working for a Subcontract Engineering specialist, supporting the local automotive, dock, and shipping industries and a trusted supplier for the Nuclear, Defence, Oil, Gas, Fluid, and Power Generation sectors. The company specialises in manufacturing and supplying drive train components, precision valve and pump internal components.

Position/s

An exciting opportunity for either a precision centre lathe turner/CNC Miller to join the Liverpool site.

Requirements

Essential candidate requirements:

  • NVQ 3 or equivalent
  • Ability to work from detailed engineering drawings
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Systems
  • Previous experience with machining of exotic metals

Preferred experience but not essential requirements:

  • Previous experience in turning/milling with programming capability
  • Production of valve and pump components
  • Serving the Nuclear, Defence, oil, gas, fluid, and power generation sectors
  • Proficient in Office 365 and ERP Systems
