Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a CNC Turner for a medical manufacturing specialist in Redhill, Surrey. You will turn CNC machinery, code and edit CNC programs, set, operate and maintain equipment, and document processes.

The role requires experience in high accuracy precision engineering and CAD reading; knowledge of titanium machining is a plus. The salary range is £40,000 - £50,000 with training, progression and benefits.

Qualifications

• Background in high accuracy precision engineering and manufacturing.
• Ability to read and understand CAD drawings.
• Knowledge of CNC programming is preferred.
• Experience working with metals, titanium especially.

Are you a CNC Turner or similar, coming from a background within high accuracy precision engineering, ideally with programming experience, looking to join an impressive company operating at the forefront of innovation within the Medical Manufacturing industry?

In this role, you will be responsible for turning CNC Machinery. Eventually, you will both code and edit CNC programs alongside testing new programs to ensure they perform correctly. You will also be responsible for setting, operating, troubleshooting and maintenance of CNC machinery, keeping accurate documentation.

This role would suit a CNC Turner with a background in the manufacturing industry, specifically, high accuracy, precision engineering, with the ability to read and understand CAD drawings. Ideally, you will have a knowledge of programming. You will also have prior experience working with a variety of metals, in this particular role, you will mainly work with titanium.
