Pertemps Bond is seeking an experienced CNC Turner for a high-precision heavy engineering operation in Dudley. The role involves owning components from set-up to final inspection, programming CNC turning machines, and producing large components to very tight tolerances.

You will also perform pre-inspection and in-process checks while working from detailed drawings. The candidate should be capable of working independently, with experience in heavy lifting, crane handling, and strict adherence to

Qualifications

• Experience in CNC turning within heavy engineering/manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings to tight tolerances.
• Capable of performing own pre-inspection and in-process checks.
• Experience setting and programming own machines and tooling.
• Familiar with safe handling of large components and crane operations.

Responsabilités

• Set up and program own CNC turning machines.
• Produce large, complex components to high tolerances.
• Perform pre-inspection and in-process checks.
• Work from engineering drawings and specs.
• Choose tooling, work-holding and machining strategies.
• Ensure components meet dimensional and quality standards.
