Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a CNC Turner for a permanent role. You will set and operate CNC turning machines using Fanuc controls, read engineering drawings, and edit programmes for new components.

The position offers day shift hours, an early finish on Fridays, and in-house training to develop programming skills. You'll join a well-established manufacturer with long-standing experience and a supportive engineering environment.

Qualifications

• CNC turning experience and ability to read engineering drawings.
• Experience with Fanuc controls is preferred.
• Experience with measuring equipment is advantageous.
• Permanent role in a stable engineering environment.

Responsibilities

Are you a CNC Turner looking for a secure, permanent role with a well-established manufacturer, settled day-shift hours and the chance to develop your skills with hands-on training?

On offer is a stable, workshop-based position where you'll be properly supported with in-house training (including training on programming) and join a business with a long track record and a close-knit engineering environment.

This company are an established engineering manufacturer and, due to continued growth and expansion, are looking to add an additional CNC Turner to their team.

In this role you will set and operate CNC lathes using Fanuc controls, working from engineering drawings, editing programmes to maintain tight tolerances, proving new components, measuring / inspecting parts, and maintaining accurate machine logbooks to support shift handovers.

The Role:

• Setting and operating CNC turning machines using Fanuc controls
• Editing programmes, proving out new products and working to drawings / tolerances
• Day shift: 8:00am - 4:30pm with an early finish on Fridays
• Workshop based

The Person:

• CNC turning background: setter / operator (programming experience beneficial)
• Comfortable reading engineering drawings and using manual measuring equipment
• Looking for a permanent role in a stable, established engineering environment
