Qualifications

  • Read and interpret mechanical drawings to ensure accuracy.
  • Perform quality inspections on finished products.

Job description

I am currently recruiting for a skilled CNC Turner to join my client, who are leading specialists in the Nuclear and Oil and Gas sectors, located within the Oldham area.

This is a great opportunity to join a growing company that offers ongoing personal development and training.

Rate of Pay: £40,000 to £50,000 per annum

Working hours: 7:45am till 4:30pm, Monday to Thursday; early finish at 12:45pm on Friday (overtime available at weekends)

The role includes:

  • Setting and operating CNC Turning Machines
  • Understanding G codes
  • Working with Haas machines with Fanuc controls
  • Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings
  • Performing tool changes
  • Completing inspection work for each job

In return, you will receive a competitive salary from £40k to £50k per year, depending on experience, along with a 4% company pension contribution, sick pay after the qualifying period, early finish on Fridays, and ongoing training and personal development opportunities.
