Overview

Are you an experienced CNC Turner? Have you worked with Fanuc, Mazak, or Heidenhain controls producing high-precision components for aerospace or other regulated industries?

If so, one of our large aerospace manufacturers, is looking for skilled CNC professionals to join their team on-site in Basildon!

Role: CNC Turner

Contract opportunity in Basildon. Negotiable rates. Working days: Monday to Thursday, 7am - 4pm; Friday 7:30am - 12:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Setting and operating CNC turning machines (minimum 2 axes).
• Working with Fanuc, Mazak, or Heidenhain (Turning) controls.
• Machining high-precision metal components, working to extremely tight tolerances.
• Conduct thorough quality checks.

Essential Experience / Skills / Qualifications

• Proven experience setting and operating CNC turning machines.
• Experience machining high-precision metal components in highly regulated industries such as aerospace, automotive, nuclear.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and self-check work.
