Job summary

Workforce Recruitment and Training is seeking a CNC Turner to join their precision engineering team. You will program, set and operate Mazak lathes to produce aerospace components to tight tolerances, with Mazatrol experience preferred and Fanuc/Siemens considered.

Full training will be provided, and the role offers 33 days holiday, a benefits package and ongoing development. The position is on-site in the UK with opportunities for career progression.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CNC Turner in precision engineering or aerospace.
• Experience programming, setting and operating CNC lathes.
• Reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings.
• Experience with AS9100 or similar quality standards is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Program, set and operate CNC lathes.
• Manufacture aerospace components from detailed engineering drawings.
• Work to tight tolerances and high-quality standards.
• Carry out in-process inspections using precision measuring equipment.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to maintain compliance and efficiency.
• Develop Mazatrol programming skills through training and on-the-job support.
