Job summary
Adore Recruitment Ltd. is seeking an experienced CNC Turner / Programmer for a low-volume aerospace precision engineering environment in Basildon, Essex. You will program, set, prove and operate Mazak and Fanuc controlled lathes from complex drawings to deliver high-quality components.
The role offers a varied, technically challenging workload with opportunities for development in a reputable aerospace supplier to OEMs and Tier 1s.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as CNC Turner & Programmer.
- Experience in a high-precision, low-volume environment.
- Able to read complex engineering drawings with minimal supervision.
- Experience with Mazatrol and Fanuc controls.
- Strong programming, setting and proving-out experience.
- Aerospace machining experience advantageous.
- Methodical, technically minded and quality focused.
Responsibilities
- Programming, setting, proving, and operating CNC lathes.
- Working independently with Mazak and Fanuc controls.
- Interpreting complex engineering drawings and specifications.
- Developing machining strategies and workholding solutions.
- Producing aerospace components to tight tolerances.
- Carrying out in-process checks and ensuring quality standards.
- Collaborating with Engineering and Quality teams to resolve manufacturing challenges.
