Overview

Our Client based in Crayford is seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join their team.

Salary: up to £20.00/ hr subject to experience

Hours: Full time - 40 hours per week

Overtime when required

The ideal CNC Turner candidate will be experienced and competent to program, set and operate a CNC lathe with driven tooling.

Experience with MAPPS/ CAPS preferred but not essential.

CNC Turner duties will be varied and include:

Responsibilities

• Able to produce precision components to AS9100 quality standards
• Read technical drawings with understanding of geometric dimensions and tolerances
• Use a wide variety of measuring equipment
• CNC Turning including Y Axis Driven Tooling
• Programmer / setter / operator – create, load, examine and modify CNC programmes
• Perform in process inspection operations
• Online Programming using MAPPS
• Experience with MAPPS /CAPS preferred but not essential
• Ability to read and understand Engineering Drawings
