Job summary

Optima UK Inc. is seeking a skilled CNC Turner in Leicestershire. The role involves setting, operating and fault-finding CNC turning machines to produce precision components from engineering drawings.

You will perform deburring, self-inspection and use gauges to ensure parts meet exact specs. The environment is busy and fast-paced, with an emphasis on quality and accuracy. Previous experience in a manufacturing or precision engineering setting is required, along with the ability to read drawings

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in busy manufacturing/precision engineering environment.
• Proven experience setting and operating CNC turning machines.
• Experience with Fanuc and/or Siemens controls would be advantageous.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Good understanding of inspection and measuring equipment.
• Aerospace, motorsport or other high-precision engineering experience would be advantageous.
• Strong communication skills.
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

• Morning Shift: Monday - Thursday, 6:00am - 2:30pm; Friday, 6:00am - 11:30am
• Afternoon Shift: Monday - Thursday, 6:00am - 2:30pm; Friday, 11:30am - 5:00pm
