Job summary

GI Pro, recruiting for a precision engineering client in Leamington Spa, is seeking a CNC Turner setter to join a busy shop floor in Warwickshire. The role involves setting and operating CNC turning machines, including Doosan and Lynx models, with inspection of own work and use of precision measuring equipment.

The successful candidate will have CNC setting experience, be capable of reading technical drawings, and bring a proactive, quality-focused approach to a varied manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• CNC setting experience is essential.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Positive and pro-active approach.
• Experience with Doosan and Lynx turning centres is advantageous.

Temporary Position

GI Pro are recruiting for a CNC Setter for our precision engineering client based in Leamington Spa. The role will setting and operating a range of CNC Turners including Doosan’s and Lynx’s.

The role:

• You will be setting and operating CNC Turning machines
• Working on vertical and horizontal machines
• The machines include both Doosan and Lynx machines
• Carrying out self-inspection of work to ensure quality
• Reading and using measuring equipment such as comparators, micrometers and calipers
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Person Specification:

• CNC Setting experience is essential
• Ideally worked with CNC Turning machines but not essential
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Positive and pro-active approach
