Yorkshire Precision Engineering Ltd are a successful busy Sub Contract Engineering Company machining parts for a range of industries including Oil & Gas, Medical, Food, Brewing, agricultural, Space. We looking for an experienced CNC Turner Setter Operator, offering excellent rates of pay to the right candidate.

CNC Turner Job Description

  • Setting and Operating CNC Star Sliding Head Lathes
  • Working to tight tolerances
  • Producing high precision batch work components anywhere from 50 off to 1000s off.
  • Setting and Operating using Fanuc Controls
  • Producing parts from various general engineering and exotic materials
  • Operating and setting on New and upto date machinery

CNC TURNER Skills Required

  • CNC Turner, setting and operating Fixed or Sliding head Lathes experience
  • (The ability to program is advantageous but not essential)
  • Previous experience working within a precision manufacturing environment.
  • The ability to read and Interpret engineering drawings
  • Must be Self-motivated, dedicated and able to work under own initiative.
  • ability to use inspection equipment to check own work.

Training will be provided

200 hours holiday per year + Statutory holidays

4 Day Week

Working 40 hours per week Monday-Thursday 6:30am to 5:00pm noon
