Position: CNC Turner

Location: Cheltenham

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £36,434 per annum

Working hours: 38 per week, Monday to Thursday 02:00 pm to 11:30 pm

Overview

We are seeking a CNC Setter/Operator to set and operate CNC lathes with Fanuc controls for a busy company in Cheltenham. This is a permanent role for a CNC setter/operator.

Responsibilities
  • Following technical drawings to set and operate CNC turning machines with Fanuc controls
  • Machining precision parts to tight tolerances
  • Set and operate a machine with minimal supervision
  • Measuring, adjusting, and maintaining tight tolerances
Qualifications
  • Previous experience setting and operating lathes/turning machines
  • Experience reading engineering drawings
  • Experience using quality inspection tools such as verniers, calipers, and micrometres
  • Ability to work a permanent PM shift
