Our client is a forward-thinking manufacturer with a reputation for engineering excellence and a strong ownership culture. They are currently seeking a skilled CNC Turner to join their machine shop team.
Key Responsibilities:
Set and operate CNC horizontal lathes (Mori Seiki and Leadwell)
Machine valve and gauge components to high quality standards and tight deadlines
Work across a variety of CNC machines within your designated area
Edit and control CNC programs (FANUC controls)
Assist in training and mentoring new team members where appropriate
Maintain excellent quality standards and adhere to fine tolerances
What Were Looking For:
Time-served CNC Turner/Machinist essential
Must have papers to produce as proof of apprenticeship/time-served status
Experience setting and editing FANUC-controlled machines
Confident reading and working from engineering drawings
Background in machining stainless steel and exotic alloys (Hastelloy C276, Duplex, Incoloy, etc.)
Positive, adaptable attitude with the ability to thrive in a high-pressure, precision-driven environment
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

Early Shift: Monday to Thursday 06:00 to 14:15 | Friday 06:00 to 11:10
Back Shift: Monday to Thursday 14:15 to 23:45 | Friday OFF

Pay:
£16.00 £17.00 per hour depending on experience
Based on a 36-hour working week
