Job description

Job Title: CNC Turner (Programmer)

Location: Gateshead

Remuneration: 42,500 (including 30% shift allowance)

Contract Details: Permanent, Full-Time, 37 hours per week (2-week day/night shift pattern)

Responsibilities:

  • Operate CNC machines to meet precise quality standards as per engineering drawings and programme machines using various materials.
  • Collaborate with the machine shop team and other departments, ensuring seamless production flow while supporting the training of apprentices and promote a safe working environment, adhering to Health, Safety & Environmental Policy.
  • Conduct self-inspection using measuring equipment and ensure compliance with inspection procedures, maintaining accurate records on the shop floor computer system.
