Wild Recruitment are pleased to be working with one of our clients in their search for a skilled and reliable CNC Turner to join their precision engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting, operating, and programming CNC lathes to produce high-quality components

This role suits someone with strong machining experience, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set and operate CNC turning machines to produce precision components

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications

  • Carry out tool changes, offsets, and basic program edits as required

  • Inspect finished parts using measuring equipment

  • Maintain quality standards and ensure components meet customer requirements

  • Perform routine machine maintenance and report faults or issues

  • Work to production schedules and meet deadlines

  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with company policies

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a CNC Turner in a manufacturing or engineering environment

  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and machining instructions

  • Familiarity with Fanuc, Siemens, or similar CNC controls (programming experience desirable)

  • Skilled in using precision measuring tools and conducting quality checks

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
