Job Title: CNC Turner Programmer Setter

Location: Eastleigh, Southampton

Salary: Up to £41,000 per annum (Negotiable, dependant on experience)

Job Profile

As a CNC Turner Programmer, you will program and set CNC Lathes (Fixed Head and TurnMill Multi-Axis with Live Tooling), ensuring efficient production, quality, and safety compliance. Your expertise in CNC Turning, online programming, and problem-solving will be vital in maintaining manufacturing excellence.

Key Duties:

1. Minimum 5 years experience with setting and operating Mazak Lathes.
2. Knowledge of writing programs, such as washer programs, is essential.
3. Program and set CNC Lathes to produce high-quality parts according to specifications and drawings.
4. Work with Fanuc and Mazatrol controls; training on multi-axis Mazak machines can be provided.
5. Monitor machine operations for safety, quality, and efficiency; conduct regular inspections and maintenance.
6. Collaborate with engineering and quality departments to troubleshoot and improve processes.
7. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with AS9100 standards.
8. Identify and implement process improvements and cost reductions.
9. Stay updated on industry advancements and share knowledge with the team.

Hours of Work:

• 40 hours per week
• Monday-Thursday 7:30-16:30, Friday 7:30-12:30
• Overtime when available
