• Expérience en programmation CNC avec Fanuc/G.
• Capacité à utiliser des équipements de mesure de précision.
• Compétences en lecture de documents mécaniques et dessins techniques.

Responsibilities

• Préparer, programmer, régler et opérer des machines CNC.
• Gérer deux autres membres de l'équipe dans la section tournage.
• Inspecter et mesurer les produits finis selon les exigences.

Job description

My client in Bristol, can deliver fabrications, structures and machined components with exceptional levels of dependability and accuracy to various sectors.

Job Title: Turning Cell Leader

Reporting to: Machine Shop Manager

Working Hours: 08:00 to 16:30 (15:30 Friday) with 00:30 unpaid lunch break plus 00:15 paid tea break. Overtime may be available.

Holiday Entitlement: 25 days plus Bank Holidays

Responsibilities:

• Preparing, programming, setting and operating CNC machines to perform turning and drilling operations
• Leading two others in the turning section
• Managing 6 CNC Lathes, including 1 Eagle, 1 DMG Mori, and 4 Hitachi Seiki machines
• Hands-on programming, setting, and running of lathes
• Handling small parts, mainly out of aluminium and stainless steel, with some steel and other materials, in small to medium batch sizes
• Preparation and loading of raw materials and parts onto the machines
• Inspecting and measuring finished products against requirements
• Checking and maintaining machinery daily to ensure functionality
• Complying with all Health and Safety regulations and instructions
• Adhering to relevant Standards including ISO 9001

Requirements:

• Fanuc/G code programming experience is essential
• Experience as a CNC setter/programmer
• Ability to use precision measuring equipment
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and engineering drawings
• Mechanical aptitude and good mathematical skills
• Good communication skills
• Team player with the ability to work independently
• Ability to meet deadlines and targets
