Job summary

Interaction Technical is seeking a skilled CNC Turner Programmer/Setter/Operator to join their precision engineering team in Brackley. You will program, set and run multi-axis turning centres, producing complex parts to tight tolerances using Fanuc controls and Hypermill offline programming.

You will inspect components, read drawings, and contribute to continuous improvement in a modern manufacturing environment with strong training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a CNC Turner Programmer/Setter/Operator in a precision engineering environment.
• Strong experience programming and setting multi-axis CNC lathes with Fanuc controls.
• Experience of offline programming using Hypermill software.
• Proven ability to manufacture complex precision-machined components to tight tolerances.
• Experience machining aerospace alloys, titanium, stainless steel and other exotic materials (advantageous).
• Experience reading engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Experience carrying out manual inspection and quality control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Program, set and operate CNC multi-axis turning centres to manufacture complex precision-engineered components.
• Produce high-quality components in line with engineering drawings, CAD models and customer specifications.
• Utilise Fanuc-controlled CNC lathes, ensuring efficient machine performance and maximum productivity.
• Carry out offline programming using Hypermill software and modify programmes as required.
• Manufacture components from materials including stainless steel, titanium and aerospace alloys.
• Perform first-off, in-process and final inspections for tight tolerances.
• Operate multiple machines to maximise production efficiency.
• Complete production documentation and maintain accurate records.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across machining.
• Adhere to quality, health & safety and manufacturing procedures.

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum (DOE)
Location: Brackley, Northamptonshire
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

• Complete all associated production documentation and maintain accurate records.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the machining department.
• Adhere to all company quality, health & safety and manufacturing procedures.

The Requirements

• Previous experience as a CNC Turner Programmer/Setter/Operator within a precision engineering environment (essential)
• Strong experience programming and setting multi-axis CNC lathes with Fanuc controls (essential)
• Experience of offline programming using Hypermill software (essential)
• Proven ability to manufacture complex precision-machined components to tight tolerances (essential)
• Experience machining aerospace alloys, titanium, Inconel, stainless steel and other exotic materials (highly advantageous)
• Experience working within motorsport, Formula 1, aerospace or other high-performance engineering environments (advantageous)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications (essential)
• Experience carrying out manual inspection and quality control procedures (essential)
