Job summary

ASC Connections is recruiting a CNC Turner in the UK for a precision engineering manufacturer. You will program, set, and operate Siemens-controlled CNC turning machines, including DMG CLX 350/450, to produce precision components from drawings.

You will program with Hypermill, work with driven tooling and twin spindles, and optimise programs while inspecting own work to ensure tolerances. Strong quality focus and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven CNC turning experience, including machine setting and operation.
• Experience using Siemens controls.
• Programming experience using Hypermill.
• Experience with driven tooling and twin spindles.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• A good understanding of inspection and quality control processes.
• Relevant CNC machining training or qualifications.
• Strong attention to detail; able to work independently or in a team.

The CNC Turner Role

• Program, set and operate CNC turning machines using Siemens controls.
